Home Information Packs (HIPs)
A Home Information Pack, commonly referred to as a HIP, is required when you are selling a residential property. The HIP contains documents which the government believe will assist in cutting fuel bills and reducing carbon emissions.
Various documents must be included in a HIP including, but not limited to: Leasehold Documents (If it is a leasehold property), Local Authority Search, Drainage Search and Evidence of Title. We have specialist professionals who can prepare the HIP for you.
Tanner & Taylor has a state of the art Case Management system, based at our Farnborough Office, which allows clients to go online and track an up to date status of their individual case. This system also allows our solicitors to contact each client, instantly via text message, to advise of any new circumstances with regards to their transaction.
