Qualifying in 1974, John has practised as a solicitor in the local area for more than 30 years. John has a broad range of expertise covering Civil Litigation, Personal Injury, Employment, Licensing and Company and Business matters. He was a member of the Law Society’s Specialist Personal Injury Panel from 1994 to 2006. John joined Tanner & Taylor as a partner in 1996, having been a partner in another Hampshire firm since 1978.
Tony Rivers – Partner

Tony has extensive UK and International experience in both private practice and in industry. Prior to setting up his own practice in Farnham 1999, Tony was partner in Penningtons, a City firm with branches in the South of England. Tony has also held appointments as Group Company Secretary and/or Legal Advisor to multi national companies in the manufacturing and service sectors.
Tony has in recent years handled a wide spectrum of transactions of varying sizes and has had significant exposure to and experience in Mergers and Acquisitions, Insolvency, Partnership, Business Start-up, Agency and Distribution, Intellectual Property and Commercial Litigation. Tony joined Tanner & Taylor as a partner in 2004.
