Commercial Property Department
Tony Wilson – Consultant
Tony qualified as a Solicitor in 1979. For 20 years he was a partner with Metcalfe & Co Solicitors in Bordon and joined Tanner & Taylor when the two practices merged in November 2004.
He specialises in property transactions, including high value properties, listed buildings, shops, offices, industrial units, development land acquisition and sales.
He advises the litigation department in property related issues such as boundary disputes, property rights and covenant enforcement. He acts for commercial landlords and tenants in the negotiation, termination and renewal of business leases. He supports the company and commercial, wills and probate, and family law departments in all matters where property is involved.
Alex Colfer – Consultant
Alex is a consultant dealing with a wide range of company & commercial work, including business start-ups & transfers, joint ventures, shareholder agreements, employment contracts and commercial property transactions. Alex also acts for clients in commercial litigation matters, such as in shareholder and partnership disputes as well as in Employment Tribunals matters.
Alex is also an admitted solicitor in the Irish Republic and whilst not currently practising on that side of the water he frequently acts as an English solicitor in Anglo-Irish transactions for both English and Irish companies
Alex worked for a number of years as UK counsel for a public quoted company and has also worked extensively for commercial clients in private practice. Alex was previously commercial partner in the firm of Margo Watson & Co (Ascot & Fleet), which recently merged with Tanner & Taylor.
